Holidays past by so quick. The Christmas rush is now over and people are now back to the reality. No more laid back days and holiday craze and less traffic nowadays. But Holidays would always be the all time favorite season for me and maybe for the majority as well.
2012's Christmas week up to the last days of the year were one of the busiest so far for us. A lot of family gatherings were held, and boooy i love family get together's, it's just overwhelming to have the time and be able to spend it with one another amidst the busy schedule and other things going on with each and everyone's personal life.
Let me share how I was able to maximize the season with family that makes me consider that 2012 was the best year yet.. Started off with my best friend's homecoming, glad to have her on Christmas in the Philippines. To start off we got to spend time away from the city with her fiancee. Had an early dinner at Leslie's tagaytay and coffee afterwards. We were supposed to check the Christmas village but unfortunately it was closed by the time we got there. We just had a few shots outside Crosswinds so not to waste our visit.

Barely after Christmas and before New Year, We got to spend time with relatives (my husband's side) we rarely see and the distance and time apart made everything more exciting that we had so much fun that night. I suddenly felt I was still in college. hahaha! Maybe having teens around that makes you do what you used to do makes you forget your age.

After the catching up with nephews that we haven't seen for ages (from my hubby's side), we went out with my cousins (my side this time) Just before the year ends and while Kae's still here we wanted to go to mercato which was unfortunately closed that time and thankfully we discovered Cucina Andare was open. The bonding was a success as we were all happy and satisfied especially my youngest cousin who must have tasted almost everything.

And out for our last round with our best friend before she leaves for Dubai, it was a mixed emotions then because she won't be spending the New Year's Eve in the Philippines, but well we can't do anything with her schedule. Call of duty as we call it. But glad to spend an After Christmas coffee with her and Pre New Year's Celebration.

It was the busiest week we had, but it was also one of the best. We covered almost all the special people in our lives. Of course, the Christmas was spent with my family while the New Year's Eve was celebrated with his family. We decided that we spent it that way for a change, shared celebration resulted from a great joy from both our families and both of us too.
Hope you had a blast too with the holidays that passed... so quick.
